Muddy in. Fluffy out.
Calm, one-dog-at-a-time grooming in Otley. No cages, no rush, and a biscuit at the end.
Bramble, cockapoo, 9 weeks between grooms
How a groom goes
About two hours for most dogs, one at a time, start to finish. Nervous dogs can have breaks, and you can stay for the first ten minutes.
Sniff and settle
A slow hello, a look over the coat, skin and paws, and a chat about the cut you want.
Warm bath
Two washes in a gentle oatmeal shampoo, chosen for their coat and skin.
Dry and brush
A quiet low-noise dryer and a proper brush-out down to the skin, not just the top.
Cut and tidy
Scissors and clippers to the style you picked, plus nails, ears and the fluffy bits between the toes.
Biscuit and bandana
A photo for you, a biscuit for them, and a text when they're ready to go home.
Pick your dog. See the price.
Prices go by size and coat. If they've not been groomed for a while, we'll tell you before we start if anything changes.
Fresh from the salon
A few of this month's regulars, with their owners' words.
“Otis used to shake at the vet. He trots in here like he owns the place.”
“First groomer who's got Mabel's teddy-bear face right. Booked her next three.”
“Two hours for a newfie and not a single tuft left on the floor at home.”
“They texted me a photo halfway through. That's the kind of thing that matters.”
